Easter is such a joyful season—but oh my goodness, the chocolate everywhere can be a real struggle! I’ve been following Trim Healthy Mama since 2021, and after four years on plan, I’ve learned that I don’t have to miss out. I just need the right kind of treats.
Whether you’re packing Easter baskets, preparing for a family gathering, or just craving a little something sweet after dinner, having a few go-to on-plan chocolate and candy recipes makes all the difference. These are five of my absolute favorites—simple, delicious, and 100% THM-friendly.
1. Peanut Butter Bars

These are the perfect mix of creamy peanut butter and rich chocolate—and they come together so quickly! I love making these for a sweet treat during the week or when I need something a little special to enjoy after dinner. Even my family asks for these, especially my husband! I got this recipe from Coach Amy Gaskin from her blog.
2. Keto Fruit Pizza Cookies

These are light, fruity, and so pretty—perfect for spring! The cookie base is made with almond flour, coconut flour, butter, sweetener, and a touch of gelatin for structure. They’re topped with a smooth cream cheese layer and fresh berries. They feel like a treat from a fancy bakery but are totally on plan. This recipe is from Joy Filled Eats Blog.
3. Strawberry Cream Eggs

These are my Easter basket favorite this year! From Coach KJ at Joyful Life with KJ, they’re made with cream cheese, butter, and gentle sweet for that strawberry cheesecake vibe—and then dipped in melted Lily’s chocolate chips with coconut oil. They’re simple, fun to make, and taste amazing right out of the fridge. I love all of KJ’s recipes!
4. Foxy Gut Chocolate Candy

This one is packed with nourishing ingredients and has a smooth, rich chocolate flavor. It’s a great way to support your gut health while still enjoying a treat. I usually make a batch to keep in the fridge so I have something ready when I want it. This is a very easy recipe to make! It’s one of my favorites! Recipe from Mama Fox’s blog.
5. The Easiest Sugar-Free Low-Carb Candy

The name says it all! This one is so simple—it comes together in just minutes. It’s my go-to when I want something sweet but don’t have much time (or energy) to make anything fancy. Totally hits the spot. This recipe is from Coach Jennifer Overstreet over on her blog. An absolute favorite treat for me!
